WHO ARE WE?

We are a Community Concert Band offering a fantastic opportunity for young players to gain vital band experience, older players to continue performing after Education and to Adults who want to return to playing.
We rehearse in Carluke Lifestyles Centre every Tuesday evening from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
We aim to perform two concerts per annum as well as offer the opportunity for members to participate in National Wind Band Festivals.
We have qualified professional tutors and conductors and all that’s required from each member is to bring a stand, their instrument, play and go home, with a smile!!

BEHIND THE SCENES AT CCCB

The band is honoured to have Mr John Bryce as their Musical Director. John who is currently a Music Instructor within a local authority has had success throughout his musical career both as an Instructor and Conductor. He has conducted various school concert bands, orchestras and ensembles as well as all three concert bands within the South Lanarkshire Orchestral Society. He was also extremely successful within Carluke Primrose Orchestral Flutes, winning various conducting awards both nationally and internationally.

We are also privileged to have John's fiance Pamela Mackin as the band's Administrator on a part-time basis. She will be responsible for the day to day running of the band and all administrative duties. Mum of five Pamela is very excited about the launch of CCCB and we are delighted to have her on board and wish her all the best in this role.
